Outside Jolin is the abandoned Rt. 66 Speedway. At its peak, racers from across the country competed against local drivers on a dusty track. The dirt track has long been defeated by waist high shrubs and weeds. All the buildings have been vandalized- furniture smashed, windows shattered, and many items stolen. Time has all but run out on this impressive landmark.
